A base mesh of this character was created in maya, and then I created a detailed version in zbrush. This was several years ago before I had known anything about displacement maps, and when I first used this character for a school project, I had to create a new texture in photoshop. Later I went back and learned what had to be done, and retored the character to the more detailed zbrush version.
